Western Australia dominates both EDR and total resources, holding some 91% and 86%, respectively (Figure 3.16). South Australia holds 8% of iron ore EDR and 10% of total iron ore resources.

The Wiluna West iron ore project is located approximately 700km northeast of Perth and 40km southwest of Wiluna, in the north-eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.
